I’ve Been There Too

As I entered my 50s, I was stressed, run down from a busy job and a complex home life. My periods slowed down, my weight started to creep up, my brain didn’t seem as sharp and focused, and I suffered from crippling anxiety attacks. I didn’t want to enter menopause beset by one difficult symptom after the next, and I cast about looking for solutions.

I found a functional medicine doctor who worked with me to discover the root cause of my health issues, and I removed the triggers that had caused the brain fog, anxiety, and weight gain. Slowly, I worked my way back to health and wellness, and my symptoms began to improve. This journey led me to want to help others.
